Job Description - Data Administrator

On behalf of our client, Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to source an experience administrator to support group payroll function. Whilst payroll experience is not essential, a keen eye for detail, accuracy of work and a methodical approach are.

Working as part of the finance and administration team, you will be responsible for accurately collating, processing and inputting payroll data. Duties will include entering new starter information, cross-checking worked hours against planners within Matchmaker, inputting timesheets into Temp-Aid, and responding to payroll-related queries from both temporary workers and clients. As accuracy is essential, this role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.

Whilst previous payroll experience would be advantageous, the Group uses specialist systems including Temp-Aid and Matchmaker rather than traditional payroll software. Full training will therefore be provided.

Alongside payroll support, you will also assist with a variety of finance and administrative tasks, including:

* Processing purchase ledger invoices for all Group companies using Sage.

* Placing orders for cleaning supplies and bar stock, updating the company's bespoke ordering system accordingly.

* General administrative duties, including scanning, filing and maintaining accurate records.

* Providing wider administrative support to the team as required.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, is happy to get involved wherever needed and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience within an administrative, finance or payroll support role.

* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

* Strong organisational and time management skills.

* The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

* Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with colleagues, clients and temporary workers.

* Basic Microsoft Excel skills.

* Sage experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

* A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
