An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join a specialist data provider operating in the global trade and transport sector. Our client works closely with leading organisations to deliver valuable insights that inform strategic decisions across international markets.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced analyst who enjoys working with complex data sets, Excel automation, and has a natural curiosity for patterns and trends.

As a Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in delivering both routine and ad-hoc reports, supporting data accuracy and analysis across multiple regions and business areas. Responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining monthly and ad-hoc reports using Excel

• Analysing data trends and market patterns

• Updating and adjusting automated reporting tools (VBA)

• Investigating anomalies and working collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure data integrity

• Responding to client data queries and supporting wider insight generation

You'll be part of a small, collaborative team, contributing to high-visibility outputs that influence strategic decisions for major industry players.

We're looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of commercial experience in a data-focused role

• Advanced Excel skills - including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualisation

• VBA knowledge - confident making small amendments to existing automations

• Exposure to SQL or a willingness to learn

• A sharp eye for detail and confidence working with large data sets

• A proactive, analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills

Previous industry experience isn't required - full training will be provided. What matters is strong technical ability and a genuine interest in working with data.

• Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience

• Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the Woking office (Tues, Weds, Thurs)
