Data Analyst Up to £60k Permanent (beneficial to have a shorter notice period) Birmingham (3 days a week) HL58319 Finatal is currently partnered with a rapidly expanding manufacturing business that has recently had Private Equity Investment from a mid-market Fund.

They are experiencing heavy transformation through M&A and are now looking for an Operational Finance Analyst to join the Group to leverage their huge amount of data and translate this into clear and interesting visualisations to optimise business processes and decision-making across the organisation.

You will work closely with the CEO and CFO establishing a strong relationship with the senior leaders of the business, working with the finance team you will gain valuable financial data analytics experience.

Role: Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager you will be the go-to person for collecting requirements and analysing key data for data-driven business decisions within the finance team as well as across the business.

You will have significant exposure to the CFO, CEO and other Senior Leaders from across the business presenting key trends and increasing optimisation.

Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends and patterns, using SQL to manipulate data sets and write queries.

Cleanse and assess the data quality including extract transform and load the data to enable thorough analysis of big data sets.

Report data and present using visualisation tools such as Domo, Power BI, or Tableau.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with exposure to the finance domain within a fast-paced environment or in a private equity setting.

Strong experience using visualisation tools such as Domo, Power BI, Tableau Looker and use of SQL for data extraction transformation and visualisations.

Experience extracting, transforming, and loading data to enable precise data analysis on large data sets.

Exceptional stakeholder management experience with examples of working with senior leadership or C-suite.
