Data Analyst Epsom / WFH to £60k

Are you a business focussed Data Analyst with strong commercial acumen?

You could be progressing your career at an independent Building Society that specialise in savings and mortgages, within a friendly and supportive team environment.

As a Data Analyst you'll work closely with the business to understand data requirements and convey these to the technical team, you'll collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers with a focus on projects within finance and treasury initially.

You'll have a range of responsibilities, from determining sources of relevant data related to a specific problem or project and collecting via various sources such as databases, spreadsheets and APIs to cleaning and preparing data for analysis through to creating charts, graphs and other visual representations of data to effectively communicate with business stakeholders. You'll interpret results and make provide actionable recommendations, seeking continual improvement.

Location:

You'll join the team in Epsom 2-3 days a week with flexibility to work from home; there is free parking a 10-minute walk away, bus and train links.

About you:

• You're a Data Analyst with strong business acumen
• You have strong requirements analysis and stakeholder management skills
• You have a strong technical knowledge, Excel and SQL skills
• You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• You have advanced analysis and problem solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex problems, break them down into smaller parts and develop effective solutions
• You have meticulous attention to detail
• You're familiar with Power Platform
