Job Description - Data Analyst - Supply Chain

  • Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
  • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Salary: up to £30,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (Hybrid working options available)

Join a dynamic team, who embrace a sense of fun. Our client seeking an Analyst to support business growth and manage relationships with key partners to maximise profit and optimise stock across the business.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan allocation strategies in line with stock availability and launch requirements.
  • Analyse data to gain insights, make recommendations, and propose actions in line with the current trading plan.
  • Manage relationships with key partners and oversee stock management across the business to maximise profit.
  • Support markdowns, promotions, and analysis.
  • Manage weekly meetings to support our retail estate.
  • Monitor and optimise stock holdings in line with company strategy.
  • Assist in managing the logistics process from origin to our distribution centre.
  • Provide key analysis and findings to the merchandise team and run weekly reporting for the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity and accuracy.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with a willingness to learn new skills and processes.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to use advanced formulas and functions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to engage effectively in internal meetings.
