Finitas are working with a leading insurer on their search for a Data & Analytics Solutions Consultant. You will be responsible for establishing a high-performing data and analytics technology framework, aligning with strategic goals and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

This role works closely with stakeholders, developers, and third-party partners to promote best practices in data architecture and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable, flexible, and reusable data solutions aligned with industry best practices
• Act as a strategic advisor and solution partner for data initiatives
• Promote trust and confidence in data through high-quality solutions
• Guide and enforce development standards (e.g., conformed code)
• Evaluate and implement leading data technologies and practices
• Define BI technology roadmap with architecture teams and stakeholders
• Manage third-party data relationships and challenge when necessary
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Design and implement robust databases, data models, schemes, and security structures
• Deliver integrated data solutions aligned with enterprise architecture

Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in SQL Server, Informatica, Tableau, and cloud-based technologies
• Familiarity with Master Data Management, data governance, semantic and process modelling
• Experience with APIs, in-memory computing, data quality tools, and modern data platforms
• Insurance industry experience
• Proven track record in delivering scalable data solutions and supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives
• Degree-level education with relevant technical or analytical focus
