Data and Reporting Manager

Venn Group is partnered with a further education organisation to recruit a permanent Data and Reporting Manager, to design and develop reporting techniques, to improve efficiency and access to information across the organisation and to maintain appropriate systems and processes for the collection, maintenance, integrity and currency of data of the funding returns.

36 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Contributing to departmental strategy
• Line managing the Data team
• Implementing a Further education wide policy for reporting across multiple databases
• Defining implementing business processes
• Providing data analysis
• Working with senior managers and other stakeholders across the FE organisation

Desired skills and experience:

• Working knowledge of schools or further/higher education environments
• Experience of student information systems/ management information systems such as Tribal EBS or OneAdvanced Pro Suite
• Experience working with large SQL databases
• Experience with SSRS, Power BI or similar reporting tools
• Experience of managing and developing data systems in an FE or other educational setting
• Team leadership experience or ability to supervise/manage
• Understanding and commitment to Equal Opportunities and Safeguarding in education
