Location: London
Contract: 12 Months
Job Type: Full Time, Hybrid working 3 days per week in main office in London.
We are seeking a driven and skilled Data Centre Engineer to join a dynamic operations team at an industry leading company who specialise in designing, building and operating large scale Data Centres. In this role, you will sit as an intersection between engineering, procurement and project management, working on various projects, reviewing packages, dealing with contract management and managing supplier vendors.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Engineering: Managing engineering packages from design and procurement through to installation, testing and handover
* Contract Management: Reviewing scopes of work and technical specifications
* Cost and Risk Control: Monitoring of project equipment and contractor costs
* Safety & Compliance: Ensure all new and existing projects strictly comply with UK health, safety and environmental regulations
* Project Management: Deliver engineering projects on time and within budget, managing cross functional teams from concept to commissioning.
Key Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical / mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
* Experience: Experience working in a data centre/ mission critical environment is preferred, candidates from other industruies will be considered.
