Data Custodian

As part of our continued growth and expansion we are recruiting for a (Technical) Data Custodian with a good understanding of how to manage and organise technical aspects of the organisations data ensuring its quality, security and optimising it for business functions.

This role requires strong technical skills and experience, proficiency in data management tools, understanding of data architectural processes and procedures. And a commitment to enforcing data governance and quality policies and standards.

What you will do:

Responsible for data governance at a technical level
Supporting the Data Architect defining and structuring data and understand impacts on data landscape or performance and scalability
Collaborate with the data architecture team to perform tasks such as creating / maintaining technical data descriptions in Collibra, artifacts for data modelling, mapping data flows, and tracing data lineage within the systems
Support data quality monitoring and remediation processes according to procedures and implement data quality indicators
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data management solutions with existing infrastructure

What you will bring:

Extensive DB (SQL/Sybase) understanding
Data modelling knowledge (SAP Powerdesigner)
Experience in Data Driven projects with large organisations
Agile & Scaled Agile experience and experience of collaborating in those teams
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
