Our Client is a boutique Lloyd’s broker, who are renowned for fostering a culture of technological advancement, collaborative growth, and industry recognition are now seeking a Data Engineer to join the team.

A pivotal role has arisen due to strategic growth initiatives focused on enhancing data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of data handling within the organisation, contributing directly to more informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Essential Skills & Experience

Minimum of four years’ experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
Proven expertise in SQL and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data migration projects.
Experience with Power BI and knowledge of containerisation tools is a plus.
Experience working with insurance data, including bordereaux.
Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
Must have a background of working in the insurance industry.
Please note that their hybrid working is 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home. You must also have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship is not provided.
