A highly successful Primary School in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is looking to appoint an experienced Data Manager to oversee the school's information systems and provide accurate reporting that supports teaching, learning and strategic decision-making.
Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will ensure pupil data is maintained accurately while producing reports that support school improvement, assessment, attendance and statutory compliance.
This is an 11 to 18 well-established Primary School with a strong commitment to high standards, student wellbeing and continuous improvement. The Data Team plays a vital role in supporting the leadership team through accurate reporting, analysis and effective management of the school's Management Information System. The team works closely with teaching staff to ensure data is used effectively to improve outcomes for pupils.
Managing the school's Management Information System (MIS).
Maintaining accurate pupil records.
Producing assessment and attendance reports.
Supporting statutory census returns.
Analysing pupil progress data.
Preparing reports for governors and senior leaders.
Ensuring GDPR compliance.
Supporting admissions administration.
Maintaining secure databases.
Producing performance dashboards.
Supporting staff with data queries.
Monitoring data accuracy across departments.
Managing user permissions.
Assisting with school improvement reporting.
Reviewing and improving data processes.
Previous Data Manager or school data experience.
Experience using school MIS systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical ability.
Strong organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
Ability to work collaboratively.
