Data Modeller

Be-IT are delighted to be working with a global financial powerhouse to hire a senior level Data Modeller to work from their Glasgow HQ

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with autonomy across a range of business critical units within the organisation to design, implement, and maintain conceptual, Logical and Physical data models that meet business data/process and technology requirements, by using designs and data strategies across a wide selection of platforms.?

You will play a key role in the development and enhancement of advanced data models designed to detect, prevent and mitigate financial crime risks. You will work alongside data scientists, compliance officers and risk management teams to design and optimise models that improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial crime detection systems.

To be successful as a Financial Crime Data Modeller, you should have experience with:

• Proficiency in data analytics and modelling, with experience in programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, R, SAS, or similar) and data modelling tools (e.g. ERStudio)

• Experience in applying statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to enhance financial crime detection models.

• Deep understanding of financial crime regulations and experience in applying them within a financial institution is desirable.
