Job Title: Operations Data Assistant

Salary: £27,812 – £29,497 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting)

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Abbey Road Waste Transfer Station, Brent, NW10 7TJ

Working Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week), 5 days over 7 including weekend working

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Data Assistant to support the day-to-day weighbridge operations at our Abbey Road site. You'll ensure smooth traffic flow, accurate data collection, and a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  Control and direct customers safely through the site

  
  


• 
  

  Operate the computerised weighbridge and maintain accurate records of all vehicle movements

  
  


• 
  

  Handle cash and card payments from the public and trade customers

  
  


• 
  

  Produce reports and data returns using weighbridge software

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor compliance with site policies, particularly health & safety procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Support site administration, booking out loads and ordering supplies

  
  

What We’re Looking For:

  Experience in customer service or administration roles

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable handling payments and managing data

  
  


• 
  

  IT-literate, with the ability to learn weighbridge systems

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and teamwork skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working in a waste or logistics environment is an advantage, but not essential
