Title : Azure DBA/Developer

Location : Manchester And/OR Remote

Type : 6 months contract, inside IR35 – Up to £575 per day

Position Overview

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced DBA/Developer to lead the transition of databases from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2019. Essential Qualifications & Skills

Extensive Experience:

Proven track record of successfully upgrading complex databases to SQL Server 2019, with a thorough understanding of new installation and migration patterns.
SQL Server Proficiency:

In-depth knowledge of installation, backup, data migration, replication, access control, SSIS, database performance, scheduling, releases, monitoring, and alerting.
Agile Methodology:

Competence in managing workloads using Azure DevOps with an Agile project approach.
Documentation:

Ability to create detailed design documentation, support procedures, and handover information.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills
Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Experience with SQL Server 2016.
Proficiency in Power BI and Power Platform is highly favourable.
