Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound tile manufacturing business based in Doncaster, who are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team!

Salary: £42,205
Location: Doncaster
Hours: Monday - Friday - 7am - 5pm (DAYS ONLY)

Duties of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Actively assisting in all departments where necessary not just undergoing Mechanical Fitting duties
• Fitting new parts and maintaining machinery
• Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
• Fault finding on various equipment
• Order and collect spares
• Following all health and safety procedures put in place by the company
• Completing all relevant paperwork in an timely and accurate manner
• Other duties as and when required
• Carry out regular housekeeping spot checks
• Carry out risk assessments and liaise with H&S Department where necessary

Desired experience:

• Mechanical engineering or similar apprenticeship with relevant experience is essential
• NVQ Level 3 equivalent in Mechanical engineering
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential
• Good communicator with team skills
• Sound knowledge Mechanical Maintenance Engineering in previous role is essential
• Excellent fault finding / problem solving skills
• Experience of working in a Safety-First culture
• Ability to work on one’s own and make necessary judgments
