Launched in January 2023 in Frankfurt, our Debt Advisory practice has rapidly become the go-to address for numerous financial sponsors and corporates in the DACH region. By mid-2024, we were ranked the second most active debt advisor in Germany according to Leverest. We are now poised to build on our successful market establishment across the DACH region, with the UK our top priority for European expansion.

• Be responsible for the origination and execution of debt advisory mandates with a focus on midcap market in the UK (London-based) 
• Lead all critical phases of the debt raising process, including client / lender communication and documentation 
• Take charge of building the UK debt advisory team in close collaboration with and fully supported by the debt advisory team in Germany – together we will advise Carlsquare’s clients across the globe 
• Closely collaborate with the debt advisory team in Germany and the M&A Team in the UK to strengthen the Carlsquare brand 
• Contribute meaningfully to the team, guiding our junior staff with your personality and professional knowledge

• An excellent university degree with a focus on finance, accounting or a similar quantitative discipline 
• >10 years of professional experience in debt/capital advisory or lending (bank or private debt investor) 
• Strong relevant deal track record (ideally midcap size) as well as relevant network to originate new debt advisory mandates (sponsors, founders, corporates, lenders, lawyers) 
• Outstanding analytical, conceptual and communication skills
