Deburrer / Finishing Operative – Afternoon Shift

Location: Woking, Surrey
Pay Rate: £22.50 – £25.00 per hour (including shift allowance)
Contract: Initial 3-month contract, with potential extension until April 2027
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00pm–11:00pm | Friday, 2:00pm–6:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Deburrer / Finishing Operative to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer near Woking on an initial 3-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience deburring CNC machined components to join a busy manufacturing environment, working with high-quality precision-engineered parts.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Deburring CNC machined components using hand tools.

*

Removing sharp edges, burrs and imperfections from precision components.

*

Operating vibratory finishing and ultrasonic cleaning equipment.

*

Carrying out bead blasting and surface finishing of aluminium components.

*

Using sandblasting equipment to achieve the required surface finish.

*

Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.

*

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

*

Previous experience deburring CNC machined components is essential.

*

Background in precision engineering, CNC machining or metal finishing.

*

Experience using hand deburring tools and finishing equipment.

*

Excellent attention to detail when handling precision components.

*

Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.

*

Experience with bead blasting, vibratory finishing or ultrasonic cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.

What's on Offer?

£22.50 – £25.00 per hour, including shift allowance.

40-hour working week on an afternoon shift.

Early finish on Fridays.
