Decontamination Engineer

About the role

As a Decontamination Engineer at Anglian Dental Engineering, you will be part of the Operations Department, ensuring that our services meet the highest quality, safety and compliance standards. Your field-based role will involve servicing, repairing, validating, and maintaining various decontamination equipment while delivering excellent customer service. 

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, validate, and maintain vacuum sterilisers, washer disinfectors, and autoclaves in dental decontamination rooms.
• Conduct pressure vessel inspections on autoclaves and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers and colleagues.
• Drive sales and sign up customers to our service contracts.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Keep accurate records of work done, parts used, and invoices issued.
• Follow health and safety procedures and best practices.

About You

• Minimum 3 year’s experience as a Decontamination Engineer or similar role in the medical field
• Excellent technical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to different locations
