The Opportunity

PYRA Construction Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work on a care home refurbishment project in Mansfield.

The successful candidate will be carrying out general painting and decorating works throughout the communal areas of an occupied care home, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Decorator looking for consistent work through until Christmas.

Duties Will Include

*

Painting and decorating communal areas, corridors and shared spaces.

*

Preparing surfaces, including filling, sanding and making good.

*

Applying emulsion and gloss finishes to walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork.

*

Carrying out general internal decorating and refurbishment works.

*

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

*

Working professionally and respectfully within an occupied care home.

*

Ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality finish.

Requirements

*

Valid CSCS Card – Essential

*

NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating – Essential

*

Own brushes and decorating tools – Essential

*

Previous experience working on commercial refurbishment projects.

*

Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

*

Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
