Deductions Analyst 
Leeds / Hybrid – 3 days in the office per week 

About the role 

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in finance and accounting. Joining our Deductions team within Transactional Finance, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy, organisation, and a positive attitude are key. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone keen to learn and grow in this area. 

Key responsibilities 

• Supporting the processing of customer deductions from start to finish for your allocated regions 

• Assisting with the investigation and resolution of deductions, following agreed processes 

• Logging, tracking, and updating deduction and dispute information accurately 

• Liaising with internal teams to gather information and support resolution 

• Producing regular reports and summaries on deductions activity 

• Contributing ideas to improve processes and ways of working 

• Working collaboratively with the wider team to meet shared deadlines 

Skills and attributes we’re looking for 

• A strong interest in starting a career in finance, accounting, or business operations 

• High attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks 

• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities 

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, or a willingness to learn quickly 

• Clear communication skills and a professional approach 

• A positive, proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
