Delegated Services Technical Analyst - Insurance

We are keen to speak with insurance data technicians or analysts with a background in delegated authority or Technical/IT bordereaux management to join a leading insurance business based in central London. This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to join a high-performing team within a globally recognised insurance brand, working on a hybrid basis.

The DPS Technical Analyst will support the Delegated Placement Services (DPS) system, ensuring accurate and timely ingestion of bordereaux data and providing high-quality data validation and reporting across delegated business. The role will include working closely with underwriting, claims, compliance, and IT to troubleshoot and enhance data processes. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to deepen their experience within delegated authority operations and Lloyd’s reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

DPS System Management and Support

• Administer and maintain data flows through the DPS platform.
• Monitor and process bordereaux (Premium, Risk, and Claims) submissions.
• Work across internal systems including DA SATS, DDM, and ATLAS to maintain data integrity and compliance.

Data Quality & Analysis

• Cleanse, transform, and validate incoming data.
• Perform gap analysis, mapping, and error resolution to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Identify trends or anomalies in delegated data that require action or escalation.

Stakeholder Liaison & Support

• Work closely with underwriting, compliance, and claims teams to resolve data queries.
• Support onboarding of new coverholders and external parties.
• Provide input into system improvements and integration initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Delegated Authority standards and reporting obligations.
• Support audit requests with accurate documentation and data.

Process Improvement

• Contribute to ongoing process reviews to increase automation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business analysts and vendors to enhance tools and workflows.

• Around 2+ years’ experience in delegated authority operations, data analysis, or technical bordereaux work within the insurance market.
• Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and London Market processes, especially delegated authority and bordereaux reporting.
• Technical skills including Advanced Excel, SQL, and ideally Power BI.
• Familiarity with systems such as DPS, DA SATS, DDM, ATLAS, Genius, IRIS, or similar.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Paying between £40,000 to £50,000 per annum
