Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.
The single corporate service is delivered across both organisation. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

The Delivering Excellence Support Officer will provide project support and a comprehensive administration service to the Delivering Excellence Programme and the Director of Improvement and Improvement Team, to support the implementation of the Delivering Excellence framework (our quality management system). The role will support the efficient operations of the team, ensuring that a comprehensive and responsive administrative and project management service is in place.

You will have proven experience in project support and comprehensive administration to senior roles and teams developed in a complex and dynamic environment.
You will have a good standard of education, with 5 GCSE's or equivalent and high-level of computer literacy with a comprehensive experience of a range of Microsoft 365 applications.
Proven experience working in a busy office environment is essential, along with, confidently managing competing priorities, meeting tight deadlines, and working both independently and as part of a team. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records, developing plans, managing diaries, and supporting meetings and training logistics.
