Delivery Driver

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for an experienced Drivers to join a well-respected and successful operation. This job offers full time hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic conditions and facilities.

What's on offer:

• Rate of pay: £12.50 per hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm, 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay.
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)

Example Shift Pattern:

Monday : 08:00am - 17:00pm

Tuesday : 08:00am - 17:00pm

Wednesday : 08:00am - 17:00pm

Thursday : 08:00am - 17:00pm

Friday : 08:00am - 17:00pm

Saturday : OFF

Sunday : OFF

Duties:

• Deliveries of parts, mostly to London areas and back- including bus depots and factories
• This role will involve heavy lifting and you must be physically fit (some parts up to 40kg)
• Use of a Hand Pallet Truck
• Loading and unloading van
• Picking up deliveries from different customers as well as delivering parts.
• Driving safely, responsibly and fully within the UK highways law
• Representing the client with utmost professionalism when at work
• Ensuring deliveries are made on time

• Experience driving a Transit van.
• Able to lift heavy items, some parts up to 40kg
• Driving safely, responsibly and fully within the UK highways law
• Experience driving in the UK
• You must wear Safety Boots & a High Viz at all times, PPE gloves will be provided
