Basic Pay: £13.48 per hour
Van Driver Allowance: £1.19 per hour!

Job Overview

We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join our delivery team based at Bedford. This is a temporary ongoing position with an immediate start. The role involves delivering a range of white goods, brown goods and bulky items directly into customers' homes while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive a company van and complete scheduled deliveries.
Deliver white goods, brown goods and bulky items to customers' homes.
Lift and manoeuvre items weighing up to 80-90kg as part of a two-person delivery team where required.
Handle goods with care to prevent damage during transport and delivery.
Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
Complete delivery paperwork and follow company procedures.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and safe manual handling practices.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence with no more than the company-approved number of penalty points.
Good level of physical fitness due to regular heavy lifting.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
