Delivery Lead - 4 day week

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to join our Data team, which includes Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and BI Engineers. This role is crucial for driving the delivery of general reporting, BAU tasks, and the development of new reporting suites in Tableau for upcoming products. The Delivery Lead will work closely with the Associate Product Manager to optimise work prioritisation and enhance team processes, ensuring alignment with other product teams.

Delivery Lead – Data Team

• Location: Newcastle, you must be based in the North East
• Salary: Up to £75,000
• Job Type: Full-time, hybrid working, 4 day week

Day-to-day of the role:

• Embed within the Data team to lead and manage the delivery of data projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Associate Product Manager to optimise task prioritisation and streamline processes.
• Develop and implement new reporting suites in Tableau to support the launch of new products.
• Ensure seamless integration and alignment of the Data team’s outputs with other product teams.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of Agile and other project management frameworks within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Delivery Lead role, ideally within a data-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of data concepts and the dynamics of a data team.
• Technical proficiency with a good understanding of databases.
• Extensive experience with Agile delivery methods, and familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, Lean, DevSecOps, Systems Thinking, and Queuing Theory.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and managing stakeholders effectively.
• Pragmatic and self-starting attitude with robust stakeholder management skills.
• Preferably from a digital-first or tech-focused company background.
