Our team consists of highly-skilled cross-functional consultants, analysts, and support staff.The Role:As a Delivery Manager, you’ll act as a critical enabler of success within a multi-disciplinary and multi-vendor environment acting as the interface between ‘on the ground’ delivery and the Programme Management team, providing both strategic and tactical guidance to the client across a variety of functions. The role will provide you with a large degree of independence, a chance to work in agile and scrum methods, management of others, senior level responsibility, and an ability to have a genuine voice that directs the travel of the programme, backed up with freedom to implement your ideas in collaboration with others.Duties:Ensure use and consistency of agile and scrum practices in the team, including coaching, mentoring and promoting of good practice.Apply appropriate delivery techniques from established methodologies, flexing as required to deliver outcomes.Remove/resolve blockers and impediments to team progress, including escalating via suitable routes where required, by providing strategic opportunities for improvement that are back up by tactical means of implementing.Monitor task completion within the team (including velocity and burn down).Report task completion and wider lower level RAID to Scrum of Scrum and cascade directives.Organise and facilitate agile ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, Show and Tells, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Retro of Retros.Own actions and learnings captured in Retrospectives, continually exploring ways to further improve team effectiveness.Direct, implement and support new Ways of Working across the team.Translate product roadmap into agile delivery plans.Essential skills/experience:Law enforcement experienceExperience leading technical teamsUnderstanding of AWS technologiesExperience of agile- preferably scaled agile, including PI planningExperience with JIRA/ ConfluenceOther elements will include all standard responsibilities of an agile Delivery Manager/ Scrum master roleBenefits:• Join a rapidly expanding startup where personal growth is a part of our DNA.• Benefit from a flexible work environment focused on deliverable outcomes.• Receive private medical insurance through Aviva.• Enjoy the benefits of a company pension plan through Nest.• 25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays.• Access Perkbox, a global employee rewards platform offering discounts, perks, and wellness resources.• Participate in a generous employee referral program.• A highly collaborative and collegial environment with opportunities for career advancement.• Be encouraged to take bold steps and embrace a mindset of experimentation.• Choose your preferred device, PC or Mac.Diversity & Inclusion:Here at Amber Labs, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace for all.
