Top Jobs Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading furniture delivery company for an experienced 3.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their expanding team in Dartford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver looking for a long-term position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

* £18.13 per hour Umbrella Rate, rate includes Employer's NI, Apprenticeship Levy and Holiday Pay

* Hours - Every Tuesday to Saturday, 6.30am to 3.30pm

The Role

As a 3.5 Tonne Furniture Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

* Delivering furniture safely to customers' homes, with up to 12 deliveries per day

* Carrying furniture into customers' homes and delivering to their room of choice

* Assembling furniture in customers' homes where required

* Safely loading and unloading the vehicle, including heavy lifting and manual handling

* Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

* Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on schedule

* Completing proof of delivery paperwork accurately

* Providing excellent customer service at every delivery

* Representing the company in a professional and friendly manner

What We're Looking For

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience

* No more than 6 penalty points

* Previous experience in home delivery, logistics, warehouse or multi-drop driving is desirable

* Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Reliable, organised and punctual

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

* Positive attitude and professional approach
