We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology ECT to join our vibrant department in Bournemouth.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Psychology lessons that explore human behaviour, thought processes, and mental well-being, drawing connections to the unique environment of a coastal community (where applicable)


• Develop students' critical thinking and analytical skills as they learn about the fascinating world of psychology in a beautiful seaside location


• Foster a love for learning about the mind and its impact on behaviour, with a potential focus on topics relevant to coastal communities (e.g., stress management, coping with isolation)


• Contribute to the development of our curriculum to ensure it is relevant, engaging, and reflects the social and psychological dynamics of a coastal town


• Play a vital role in our supportive and inclusive school community

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Psychology or a relevant subject


• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in understanding human behaviour and mental processes


• Excellent communication and classroom management skills


• A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring the complexities of the mind, inspired by the beauty of the south coast
