To interface and align with all necessary stakeholders across the business, with respect to the International Network Demand Growth and corresponding PxQ Recharges, including International Network Planning teams, Network Finance, INCA Finance, Group Entities and Local Markets. Own, Develop and maintain the International Network PxQ Cost Recharge Model, interfacing into Networks, Finance and INCA teams. International Network Inventory records and cost base extraction, assessment & analysis of Network Opex and Depreciation. Allocation of the underlying cost base to the International Network Platforms and Regions. International Network Demand Generators and Capacity Consumers. Assessment and analysis of the international network capacity consumers for recharging purposes. International Network Service Inventory, Network Inventory and Cost Records cleansing through automation tools and process improvement to increase the quality of data records for cost recharging purposes. Facilitate Regular Interlocks with Finance & INCA teams, Network Planning Teams and Demand Generator / Capacity Consumers to align current consumption and forecasted growth and optimisation plans Participate in regular capacity reviews for all International Network Platforms to ensure there is sufficient capacity / plans to meet forecasted demand pipeline Essential Network Engineering background with Finance & Commercial Skills, Capex, Opex, Defined (DB) Budget Planning. Primarily this position is for a ‘Network Economist', an experienced Network Engineering Graduate with at least 5 years experience, together with Financial and commercial skills to be able to understand and construct network cost allocation and recharging models. Detailed technical knowledge of Fixed Service Provider Networks, Experience in Capacity Planning Service Provider Networks required, primarily focusing on the Optical and DWDM Network platforms. SDH, Optical & DWDM Transmission Technologies & Networks MPLS Technologies and Networks Internet / IP Routing Technologies and Networking Submarine Networking Technologies Demonstrable success in a similar role. Analytical skills and ability to develop complex cost models and recharging mechanisms, identify and analyse potential problems and risks Good written and verbal technical communication skills. Ability to establish good working relationships both internal teams and external partners.
