Diamond Dental Staff are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our clients vibrant modern, newly refurbished Practice based in Reading. Our clients vision is to grow into a referral Centre and be recommended throughout Berkshire as the place to come for treatments and to become an âinvestors in peopleâ workplace.
We are looking for a real team player with excellent communication skills and somebody who can grow with the practice and is looking to go on a journey to improve themselves as well as offer exceptional patient experience, supporting clinicians, dentists & patients while developing via their own personal development plan. Diamond Dental Staff are committed to providing ongoing mentoring to you, alongside the Practice throughout your career.
This role is for a nurse who is willing to stretch into a clinical governance role with exposure to other specialisms; particularly sedation and dental implants - not just nursing. Itero scanning experience is preferable. If the candidate has a growth mind-set with aspirations to grow into a senior dental nurse role within 1-2 years and feels like they have leadership skills then this is a job for you, there is scope for growth.
During the interview process with ourselves and the Practice we would really like to get to know you, your career plans and aspirations with both Diamond Dental Staff and our Client supporting training and advancement, with our client happy to pay for training courses; as well as other courses after 1 year of service.
The Role:
- Full time (part time considered also)
- £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
- Schedule TBD but may include alternate Saturdays
- Shift: Flexibility is preferred. If part time 2-3 days a week (24 hours a week)
About You:
- GDC Registered
- Three years dental nursing experience
- Experience in a Private setting is preferred
- Vaccinations: Hepatitis/ Covid

Requirements
- GDC Registered
- Minimum 3-5 years in nursing, with experience in a private led dental practice
- Sedation qualification is preferred (not a must)
- Invisalign / iTero scanning experience preferred
- Treatment coordinating experience would be a bonus
- Excellent English, solid communicator
- Honest, loyal nurses with integrity that have a sense of responsibility towards the duty of care towards their patients.
