Job Description - Dental Nurse




Diamond Dental Staff are assisting our clients mixed NHS & Private Dental Practice in Portslade to find a full time qualified or trainee dental nurse to join their team.



Our client is a busy but supportive, family owned Practice offering competitive rates of pay, performance bonus's and incentive schemes as well as free street parking and social events.







The Role:



  • Full time

  • Pay starting from £9.00+ per hour

  • Monday - Friday, One Saturday a month on rota basis (Half day Saturday every 2- 4 months) 

  • Working hours: 9:00 AM - 18:00 PM with one later finish a week (19:30 PM/ 20:00 PM)



Tasks:



  • Set-up and prepare surgery based on patient needs and treatment plan

  • Clean and sterilise all equipment to required standard

  • Prepare the necessary materials and instruments

  • Ensure safe disposal of sharps and clinical waste

  • Keep all clinical areas clean and tidy

  • Provide clinical assistance to the Dentist (hygienist/ therapist) while treating patients

  • Assist in the completion of patient records​

  • GDC registered (if qualified)

  • Willingness to learn

  • Vaccinated against Covid-19

  • Dedicated to training programme & portfolio

  • DBS Certificate
