Depot Co-Ordinator

Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Erith, Kent. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Depot Co-Ordinator. This is full time and permanent position and working for very well established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

Ideally, we are after someone who is experienced candidate and wants to learn more about transport and logistics but who is also quite willing to muck in and help with other aspect of facilities including yard maintenance, warehouse cover.

You will work very closely with Transport Manager and learn everything from routing, maintaining the fleet to compliance of all aspects of transport department.

Main responsibilities:

To cover all the duties of the Transport Manager including:

• Maintaining the fleet
• Perimeter checks at Erith
• Filter and loading arm maintenance
• Audit inspections on vehicles
• Vehicle routing
• Transport Admin
• Ad-Hoc duties
• Depot reports
• General maintenance at Erith depot
• Warehouse cover when required

Liaise with TM and Facilities/H&S manager for the following:

• Yard maintenance
• Health & Safety on site

The role is Monday to Friday except bank holidays. 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase in increments the longer they are with the company. The working hours are 7am to 3pm however some flexibility may be required to fit in with the needs of the company.
