Deputy Care Home Manager

Are you an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager or Deputy Residential Home Manager looking for your next opportunity in Liverpool?

We are working with an established elderly care provider to recruit a non-clinical Deputy Home Manager for a large, well-established residential and dementia care home in the Liverpool area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager who enjoys being visible on the floor, supporting care teams and working closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of care, compliance and resident experience.
This is a non-nursing position and does not require an NMC PIN, Nurse qualified Deputy Managers are more than welcome to appy however!

The Deputy Home Manager RoleWorking alongside the Home Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the care home.

Supporting the Home Manager with the effective day-to-day running of the home
Leading, motivating and developing a large care team
Maintaining high standards of person-centred residential and dementia care
Supporting care planning, assessments and resident reviews
Ensuring the home operates in line with CQC regulations and internal quality standardsWhat We're Looking ForWe would particularly like to hear from experienced Deputy Managers working within residential care homes for older people.
You will ideally have:

Previous experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager, Deputy Residential Home Manager or Senior Care Manager
Experience working within an elderly residential or dementia care setting
Experience of supporting the management of a larger care home would be advantageous
A strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, DoLS and the Mental Capacity Act
A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or be working towards/relevant equivalent experienceWhy Apply?This is an opportunity to join a well-established care provider in a senior position within a large residential and dementia service.
