The Role
We are currently looking for a Deputy Chief Pilot who will support the Chief Pilot for all matter affecting Flight Operations, with specific concern for the safe execution of those operations.
Policy Implementation: Enforcing company operations policy as defined by the Accountable Manager.
Safety and Efficiency: Ensuring flight safety, operational efficiency, aircrew discipline, and currency checks are maintained.
Compliance: Ensuring each flight adheres to the operations manual and legislation and maintaining and amending various flight-related documents, including aircraft flight manuals, air pilot information, NOTAMs, information circulars, regulations, maps, charts, and flight guides.
Document Validation: Verifying the validity of essential documents for each flight, such as airworthiness certificates, registration, radio licenses, insurance, customs forms, and fuel carnets.
Aircrew Management: Selecting and appointing aircrew, managing their records, and overseeing their inductions, conversions, training, and testing.
Manuals and Instructions: Producing, revising, and amending the company operations manual, flying staff instructions, and administrative notices.
Licensing and Scheduling: Recording aircrew license details, scheduling and rostering aircrew in accordance with regulations, and managing flight time limitations.
Record Maintenance: Keeping records of aircrew duties and flight times and monitoring post-flight documentation.
Reporting and Liaison: Processing discretion reports, liaising with authorities on flight safety matters, and operating the Mandatory Occurrence Reporting Scheme (MORS).
Airworthiness and Operational Data: Collaborating on airworthiness matters and preparing operational data such as aerodrome minima, performance data, loading instructions, flight plans, and checklists.
About you
· Rotary Type Rating is essential (B429, EC135, H145, and or S76 desirable).
· Minimum 2000 Hours PIC, with previous experience as a Lead Pilot or Senior Pilot.
. UK CAA licence essential.
· Have effective communication & time management skills.
· Excellent in problem solving and decision making.
. Good IT skills.
