Deputy Head – Construction Trades | Northampton

?? Salary: £41,207 – £43,652 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced education professional to take on the role of Deputy Head of Construction Trades in Northampton.

This leadership position offers the chance to drive excellence across construction programmes, leading teams and shaping the future of vocational education.

?? Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support curriculum teams within Construction Trades
Oversee quality assurance processes and curriculum development
Use data to monitor performance and implement improvements
Support teaching excellence and learner outcomes
Contribute to strategic planning and delivery of departmental goals
Drive staff development and performance management

? Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
A relevant degree or professional qualification in construction or a related subject
Significant experience in Further Education
Proven leadership and team management experience
Strong background in curriculum development and quality assurance
Demonstrable impact on learner achievement and outcomes
