About the Role

As Deputy Head of Mathematics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department's success. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Head of Department in leading and managing the team


• Contributing to the development and implementation of a comprehensive Maths curriculum


• Supporting and mentoring Mathematics teachers


• Monitoring and evaluating student progress and departmental performance


• Contributing to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students

Qualifications and Experience

• A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE)


• Strong academic background in Mathematics


• Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching Maths at secondary level


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Passion for mathematics education and inspiring students
