The Role: As Deputy Head of our SEN School, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Headteacher in the strategic leadership and management of the school. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership and direction in line with the school's vision, values, and objectives.


• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including curriculum planning, staff development, and student welfare.


• Supporting the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding.


• Collaborating with staff, parents, and external stakeholders to foster positive relationships and promote a culture of continuous improvement.


• Acting as a role model and mentor to staff, inspiring a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and innovation.

Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience in a leadership role within a special educational needs setting.


• Strong knowledge of special educational needs curriculum, pedagogy, and best practices.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.


• A commitment to promoting the well-being and academic achievement of students with special educational needs.


• Flexibility, resilience, and a collaborative approach to leadership.

Salary: This position offers a competitive salary range of £60,632 - £65,720
