JOB DESCRIPTION:
A permanent Deputy Manager post has become available in a care home near Great Yarmouth that specialises in providing care to those with learning disabilities.

* Up to £35,000 per annum

* Must have previous experience in a Deputy Manager role

* Full-time, day shifts

* Small home for those with learning disabilities and mental health needs

* Immediate interviews

The successful Deputy Home Manager candidate will be required to assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care to the home’s residents. You will be responsible for managing and motivating a team of carers and helping to ensure the smooth running of this reputable care home. Good communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding care are therefore essential.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in a Deputy Manager role essential
• NVQ3 or equivalent

• Passion for mental health care

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF THE DEPUTY MANAGER:

• Work autonomously and independently whilst building strong relationships with the management and care staff throughout the organisation
• Maintain and assess the home’s high quality care

• Organising and motivating a team of carers to ensure excellent standards of care are delivered
• Assist in inductions and orientations of new care staff

• Help to uphold the home’s reputation as a recognised centre of excellence
• Liaising with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team
• Administrative duties
