Deputy Home Manager – Residential Care


£16.50 per hour | Full-Time

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded residential care service, is currently recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager to join their leadership team. This full-time role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, including those living with dementia, within a warm and supportive care environment.

Set in a welcoming and homely setting, the service prides itself on delivering person-centred care where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect every day.

As Deputy Home Manager, you’ll work closely with the Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service. This includes leading care teams, supporting staff development, ensuring high standards of care, and playing an active role in care planning and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Level 3 qualification or higher in Health and Social Care

  • Previous experience in a senior care role (e.g., Senior Carer, Team Leader, or similar)

  • Background in elderly and dementia care is essential

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others

  • Compassionate, organised, and confident in managing care delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in leading and managing the care team

  • Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and independence among residents

  • Oversee care planning and ensure individual care needs are met effectively

  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and person-focused environment

  • Foster strong relationships with families, external professionals, and the wider community
