Deputy Home Manager (Supernumerary) – Residential and Elderly Care

Salary: £34,200

Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our client’s residential care home for the elderly. In this role, you will support the overall management of the home, helping to ensure the highest standards of care and service are consistently delivered.

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with willingness to work towards Level 4 or 5

• Previous management experience in an elderly care setting and experience with Dementia

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Commitment to promoting and developing the highest standards of care

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Manager in daily operational activities and overseeing the care provided to residents

• Supporting the implementation of care plans and maintaining accurate records

• Managing and leading a team of care staff, providing guidance and support

• Contributing to marketing efforts and implementing strategies to increase occupancy

• Assisting with financial management to optimise costs and resources

• Promoting inclusive and diverse practices within the facility
