Deputy Lead – Health & Social Care

Location: Multiple locations across England, UK

• Support daily service operations and staffing coordination.
  

• Supervise, guide, and monitor staff performance.
  

• Ensure compliance with care plans, safeguarding procedures, and organisational policies.
  

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and service documentation.
  

• Handle incidents and concerns, escalating issues when required.
  

• Support audits, quality assurance, staff induction, and training.
  

• Promote person-centred care and effective team communication.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in health and social care or a related support service.
  

• Supervisory, team-leading, or management experience is preferred.
  

• Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  

• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety.
  

• Level 3, 4, or 5 Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.
  

• Willingness to undertake mandatory training and continuous professional development.
