Job Description - Deputy Manager

Deputy Manager - Mental Health Recovery Service

Are you a compassionate leader driven by recovery-focused care?
We're seeking a Deputy Manager to lead our Mental Health Recovery Service, empowering individuals with mental health needs to reclaim independence. Up to £30,882.75 per annum | 37.5 hours per week | Permanent | Enhanced Benefits

Your Impact:
Lead with purpose: Manage a recovery-focused service, ensuring CQC compliance and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for service users.

Drive holistic care: Conduct assessments, co-produce personalised support plans, and coordinate person-centred reviews with multi-disciplinary teams.

Champion recovery: Implement Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAPs), crisis management strategies, and move-on pathways to independence.

Inspire your team: Supervise staff, volunteers, and students, fostering a culture of collaboration, safeguarding, and continuous improvement.

Collaborate for change: Partner with community agencies, probation services, and healthcare providers to deliver wrap-around support.

Your Experience:
Qualified professional: RMN, DipSW, or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

2+ years' experience in mental health/ learning disability services, with a recovery-focused approach.

Proven leadership: Skilled in staff supervision, risk management, and deploying resources effectively.

Regulatory expertise: In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and mental health legislation.

Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations to meet service needs.
