Job Description - Deputy Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager to join a newly commissioned, state-of-the-art luxury care home near Fleet in Hampshire. Opening in early 2026, the home will provide high-quality nursing and residential care, including specialist care and support for people living with dementia.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Deputy Manager will act as the Clinical Lead for the home, playing a pivotal role in shaping and delivering outstanding care from day one. The post holder will support in establishing a strong, values-led culture and will help to recruit, develop, and lead a dedicated care team in line with the organisation's commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a passion for leadership
  • Leadership and management qualification, L5 or equivalent
  • Experience in a senior care role within elderly care or dementia services
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to excellence in care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all clinical aspects of care delivery within the home
  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the home and staff
  • Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care, safety, and compliance
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring a skilled multidisciplinary team
  • Help embed a strong, supportive, and inclusive culture aligned to the provider's values

Salary:

  • up to £60,000pa DOSE | contracted to 40hrs per week
  • 25 days leave + BH
