Deputy Manager

We are seeking a confident and motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our well-established domiciliary care branch in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior care professional or care coordinator looking to take the next step in their career—without the added pressures of on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Registered Manager with the daily operations of the branch
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies
• Supervise, mentor, and support care coordinators, senior carers, and care staff
• Assist with recruitment, staff training, and performance management
• Contribute to rota management and scheduling to ensure effective service delivery
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and professionals to promote person-centred care
• Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Benefit from a leadership role with no on-call or personal care delivery requirements

Ideal Candidate:
• Previous experience as a Care Coordinator, Senior Carer, or Deputy Manager within domiciliary care
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Good understanding of CQC compliance and regulations
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (working towards Level 5 desirable)
• A proactive and professional individual with a commitment to delivering outstanding care
