Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Care
Location: Preston


 


The Opportunity
A respected children’s residential care provider is seeking a Deputy Manager to join their well-established team in Preston. The successful candidate will support up to four young people, each presenting with individual needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions, Learning Disabilities, or Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), depending on the specific home placement.

What They Offer:




  • Employment Type: Full-time (37 hours per week), working on a rolling rota including some weekends and bank holidays




  • Salary Range: £37,500 to £43,800, dependent on experience




  • Sleep-In Duties: Required on occasion, with additional pay




  • Annual Leave: 30 days including public holidays

What They’re Looking For:




  • A recognised qualification in Social Care (Level 3 or higher)




  • Proven experience in a residential care setting, ideally supporting children and young people




  • A full UK driving licence




  • Candidates must be 23+ (in line with current legislative requirements)
