Job Title: Deputy Manager

Location: Rugeley

Salary: Estimated £31,680 per annum (£16.50 × 160 hours × 12 months) + Sleeps

Hourly Rate: £16.50 per hour, plus an excellent overtime rate

Working Hours / Shift Pattern: Shifts including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and bank holidays

Employment Type: Full-time

Service: Children's Home

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce. Full UK manual driving licence.

Experience Required: At least 1 year as a Senior Residential Care Worker in a children's home

Who we are looking for:
A strong leader and great role model for looked after children. You will work alongside the Home Manager across compliance, safeguarding, quality assurance and financial planning, lead the team through supervision, appraisal and development, manage the home in the Registered Manager's absence, maintain a safe and homely environment, oversee health and safety, risk assessments and training compliance, and liaise with professionals to contribute to care planning. You will build trusting relationships with both staff and young people, with genuine care and compassion at the heart of your practice.
