Deputy Manager - 6 month secondment (internal applicants only)

We are currently looking to recruit a Deputy Manager on a 6 month, secondment, basis to support Team CM.  

You’ll support the regional manager in leading a team of professional Support Workers dedicated to providing a person-centred, bespoke care service to make a real difference to the young person’s life.  The individual in this role will lead by example, setting the highest standards in all areas.

·        Ensuring that the placement provision meets and exceeds required inspection standards under CQC and OFSTED going forwards.

·        Ensure positive outcomes are achieved through the delivery of high-quality support.

·        Work in partnership with the CQC Manager, Field Leadership, Training and Compliance Teams to monitor and plan services, and to work on improvement plans and overall strategic direction for the placement.

·        To manage and co-ordinate operational needs and be responsible for ensuring health and safety guidance, policies and procedures are followed by all staff at all times.

·        Ensure that all young people have comprehensive, up-to-date, Person Centred Plans.

·        Facilitate a safe, homely, welcoming environment for the young person, ensuring that privacy, dignity and respect are central to the service.

·        Onboard and thoroughly induct new team members.

·        Carry out regular, meaningful supervision, 1-2-1s and appraisals in order to help each team member develop personally and within their careers at PCG.

·        Support the team with carrying out their Level 3 Diplomas and other studies and training.

·        Ensure the team is supported, motivated, skilled, knowledgeable and happy.

·        Manage finances and resources with the team.
