About the Role
Support the Registered Manager in the overall leadership and day-to-day running of the home Lead and motivate the team to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care Take responsibility in the absence of the Registered Manager Oversee care plans, keyworking, and daily operations to ensure compliance and consistency Contribute to the development of a safe, supportive, and structured home environment Uphold the organisation's values and model professional conduct at all times Support with staff recruitment, training, and supervision Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and stakeholders Participate in the on-call rota as part of the leadership team
Requirements
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Minimum 2 years' experience within children's residential care Previous leadership or senior experience (e.g., Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or Deputy) Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's legislation Passionate about promoting positive outcomes for children and young people Confident communicator and hands-on team player Ability to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
