Deputy Manager, Domiciliary Care

The Role

We are supporting a growing domiciliary care provider in Swindon to recruit an experienced Deputy Care Manager.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager and Care Coordinator to support the daily running of the branch, maintain strong care standards and ensure staff and clients receive the right level of support.

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Care Manager, Field Care Supervisor or Senior Care Coordinator ready to take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Complete client assessments and care reviews
• Create and update care plans and risk assessments
• Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents
• Complete staff supervisions, spot checks and competency checks
• Support staff performance and development
• Visit clients and staff in the community
• Monitor care records, medication records and compliance
• Liaise with families, social workers and local authorities
• Support the Registered Manager with audits and CQC readiness
• Take part in the on call rota when required

Requirements

• Experience within domiciliary care
• Experience completing assessments and care plans
• Good safeguarding and CQC knowledge
• Experience supervising or supporting care staff
• Confident managing complaints and operational issues
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Able to work from the Swindon office and travel locally

• Salary between £29,000 and £32,000
