Location: Cromwell Hospital, London (with occasional travel to other locations)

Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week (Onsite)

The Opportunity

This is a pivotal, newly created Deputy Medical Director role, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer to shape the future of clinical services. You will operate at executive level, driving governance, service development, and consultant engagement.

This is an opportunity for an established consultant leader to step into a strategic and highly influential position within a growing organisation.

You will escalate concerns to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for oversight and support. Your remit will be to support the Cromwell Hospital and Diagnostic Centres (London Medical, Basinghall Clinic and Canary Wharf)

How you’ll help us make health happen:

• Provide senior clinical leadership across governance, quality and safety
• Lead CQC readiness and regulatory compliance
• Drive clinical strategy and service transformation
• Oversee consultant credentialing and practising privileges
• Line manage Resident Medical Officers and build high-performing teams
• Working with the Lead RMOs on necessary quality improvements such as clinical pathway design and new Standard Operating Policies.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

• Consultant-level clinician (post-CCT)
• Proven leadership experience at Clinical Director/Medical Director level
• Strong experience across NHS and preferably independent sector
• Expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement and change
• Resilient, credible and able to influence at executive level
